Swearing-in
I've received word from the town clerk, Michael Palmer, that he will be swearing-in all newly elected town officials at 9am on Monday, on the town hall steps (weather permitting) before the Memorial Day observance.

Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers...much appreciated.

I spent Thursday and Friday at the hospital with my siblings, and our father is showing steady improvement. This morning, my sister called to inform me that he is getting up on his own - a remarkable improvement given the total paralysis of his left side just a few days ago. As a result, he has been moved from intensive care and may be in a rehab facility within a week.

I'll be in Maine again on Sunday, but back Monday for the Memorial Day observance. My youngest daughter will be participating.
